A new poll finds while a majority of Americans support the legalization of marijuana, most do not favor legalizing other drugs, such as cocaine or heroin.
The Huff/Post You/Gov Poll found more than 51 percent of Americans are in favor of legalizing marijuana, UPI reports. However, only 11 percent want cocaine to be legalized, while 9 percent support the legalization of drugs such as MDMA, crack and heroin. Only 8 percent support legalizing LSD and methamphetamine.
The poll results suggest that marijuana legalization may not necessarily lead to support of legalizing other drugs, the article notes.
